Regenerative Energie
In 2005 a collaboration was formed between Saubermacher DienstleistungsAG, ecorec Eastern Europe, and the Institute of Innovations- and Environmental Management of the Karl-Franzens- University of Graz, which created the basis for this paper.
It acts on the hypothesis that in modern society waste management has to pass through several phases or stages in every country or region. Defining and structuring these phases may provide companies involved in the process of waste management (e.g. disposal service providers) with valuable directions and/or advice for forming strategies. These contributions may lead to a better efficiency for those involved in the waste management processes to act in different countries or regions.

Like all public international law treaties, the Paris Climate Accords rely on national law for their implementation. The success of the agreement therefore depends, to a large extent, on the stepstaken or not taken by national governments and legislators as well as on the instruments and mechanisms chosen for this task. Against this background, the present article compares different approaches to the implementation of the Paris Agreement, using court decisions as a means to assess their (legal) effectiveness.
