SUMMARY:
Strategies for waste management change with the civilization of human population: from the direct use in agriculture in the primitive urban organization, to landfill or recycling in the present conditions where waste has changed in composition and includes an increasing amount of inorganic and organic nonbiodegradable compounds.
The late solutions for organic waste composting include new mechanical systems which not always respect the conditions requested by the microbial process. A critical analysis on the main parameters (chemical, physical and microbiological) that influence composting rate and compost quality is reported.

Like all public international law treaties, the Paris Climate Accords rely on national law for their implementation. The success of the agreement therefore depends, to a large extent, on the stepstaken or not taken by national governments and legislators as well as on the instruments and mechanisms chosen for this task. Against this background, the present article compares different approaches to the implementation of the Paris Agreement, using court decisions as a means to assess their (legal) effectiveness.
