With the expanding potential of data processing, the scope of application for near-infrared Technology in the area of waste processing is continuously growing.
The use of NIR technology for real-time quality assurance for solid recovered fuels is relatively new. Real-time quality control and assurance is assured through continuous NIR identification of material groups and by linking this information with average concentrations. Unlike the established (offl ine) laboratory analysis method, this form of analysis allows for a direct influence on quality during processing, which can in turn lead to improvements in, forexample, optimization of the amount of primary energy sources added and the production of solid recovered fuels according to the specific needs of the particular firing systems (coal-fired power plant, cement plant, etc.).

Die innerstaatliche Umsetzung des Pariser Klimaschutzübereinkommens

Like all public international law treaties, the Paris Climate Accords rely on national law for their implementation. The success of the agreement therefore depends, to a large extent, on the stepstaken or not taken by national governments and legislators as well as on the instruments and mechanisms chosen for this task. Against this background, the present article compares different approaches to the implementation of the Paris Agreement, using court decisions as a means to assess their (legal) effectiveness.
