Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) incineration is a common waste to energy technology in many countries. This paper presents an overview of researches on the emissions characteristics of RDF incineration process.
The emissions of CO, NOx, SOx, Heavy metals, HCl, dioxin and other organic compounds have been discussed and the key factors affecting their concentration have defined. However, from an overall view, RDF incineration is corresponding to cleaner flue gases emissions compared to mass burn incineration and turns out to be one of the promising technologies for waste management.

Like all public international law treaties, the Paris Climate Accords rely on national law for their implementation. The success of the agreement therefore depends, to a large extent, on the stepstaken or not taken by national governments and legislators as well as on the instruments and mechanisms chosen for this task. Against this background, the present article compares different approaches to the implementation of the Paris Agreement, using court decisions as a means to assess their (legal) effectiveness.
